Zakat is not like other giving. It is an obligation, it has rules about who can receive it, and many of our donors trust us with it. So we treat it differently.
Kept apart
Zakat goes into its own fund. It is never mixed with general donations and never used to cover running costs.
Only on eligible campaigns
You can only choose Zakat on a campaign that has been checked and confirmed as Zakat-eligible. Our donation form won't offer it anywhere else, and our system double-checks this before any payment is taken.
If plans change
If we can't spend your Zakat as intended, we'll contact you about moving it to another eligible campaign or refunding it. We will not decide on your behalf.
